The Material Information Analyst will work with the Material Sourcing and Development Teams to proactively manage the global material master data through its lifecycle. Critical skills and aptitude for this role include the ability to listen and translate a business functions’ needs and requirements as well as consistently executing a high level of attention to details. This role requires curiosity and enthusiasm around data integrity, data management and process improvement.   Responsibilities will also include measuring, analyzing and evaluating data, process and performance to assist in identifying improvements that will allow the global business to achieve its’ long-term goals.




Proactive Material Master Data Management  & Overall responsibility of Global Materials Library Data

  • Lifecycle Management & Maintenance

Master Data Management

  • Core subject matter expert for supporting data initiatives associated with this enterprise wide initiative to improve the process, data, and/or systems

Specification material management

  • Monitor parts usage
  • Monitor obsolescence and action accordingly

Collaborative support for teams to enable/promote/monitor/balance the needs of:

  • Global MST initiatives 
  • Global Development Teams (Material and Product)

Seasonal & Foundational Palette material creation, maintaining, monitoring, & reporting

Material Data Sheet (MDS) management

  • Tracking from suppliers
  • Maintaining MDS in PPM

Continuous Improvement Spec/Material Project Support/Lead

  • Ongoing for various project work: i.e. Embedded Specification, AI Integrator, MODO, Vendor Interface Portal…

Communicate with T1/T2 suppliers on a regular basis

  • Managing vendor material guidelines and maintenance
  • Confirm/Request specific material data



  • Strong database management and efficiency in MS Office programs - Excel.
  • Data Management Aptitude and curiosity to learn is essential with excellent customer services skills, flexible, and cooperative manner.
  • Ability to effectively interact at all levels of the organization. Complex project management and organizational skills are essential.



  •  Bachelor’s degree plus 2-3 years of experience.
  • Strong analytical skills, detail oriented
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and remains flexible in an ever changing environment focused on continuous improvement opportunities
  • Works well in a team environment and focuses on sharing best practices.
  • Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be organized with the ability to multitask.
  • Deadline-oriented.
  • Ability to pick up new systems quickly and be able to explore and improve for the benefit of the role
  • Ability to communicate to business and IT teams on daily responsibilities, address issues, provide support, and lead discussions to stimulate options and solutions
  • PLM, MS Project, Business Information tools, and SQL knowledge a plus
