This position will report directly into the Sr. Apparel Development Specialist, but will also work very closely with the Development, Technical Design, Apparel Sourcing Ops, Apparel Buying Team, NBHK and external suppliers as well. The responsibilities will range from system updates to supporting all centralized development processes including, but not limited to, supporting the end to end PLP execution process, FIS data integrity and maintenance & reporting, weekly development updates on buy ready status, Pre-Line and SMS exception reporting, Discrepancy Review Meetings and also managing and reporting on the Fabric Toolbox updates.


  1. Creates, maintains and communicates all shared Development data files for reporting business metrics using NB PLM system, excel and Spotfire (internal reporting tool).
  2. Responsible to follow up and report on seasonal Fabric Information Sheets (FIS) for all apparel business channels. This includes tracking on status and entering updates into the NB PLM system and reporting out metrics.
  3. Supports generating all apparel business channels & seasonal related fabric reports including; metrics for total fabric counts, new and c/o, and also the supplier efficiency related metrics.
  4. Responsible to maintain NB PLM system with all seasonal materials and color.
  5. Supports the seasonal PLP (Product Line Planning Samples) fabric & trim set up process on all aspects and collaborates with design, materials, development and tech design.
  6. Accountable to position seasonal proto yardage needs directly with the nominated mills, collaborating with materials and development.
  7. Supports the Sr. Apparel Development Specialist to gather and report out on all PLP shipment updates, collaborating closely with the HKP and WHP teams for timely and accurate information.
  8. Supports and is accountable for scheduling and managing the seasonal discrepancy samples meetings and reporting out the metrics for both NB and vendor performance.
  9. Reports on all “At Risk” PL/SMS deliveries working with Sr. Apparel Development Specialist, NBHK and WH production teams along with the ABO (buying team) to share high level metrics to all Apparel teams for full transparency.
  10. Drives centralized communication at key calendar dates reporting between internal Development team and vendors.
  11. Supports all seasonal “buy ready” reporting, including updates working with key cross functional teams and the Apparel Development Manager for high level call outs. This also includes coordinating with Developers, Colorist and Technical Design.
  12. Responsible to maintain the Global Design Center’s physical Fabric Toolbox, coordinating with Materials, will provide seasonal reports along with updates to the other design centers.
  13. Supports apparel to train new hires in our development system, AA as well as maintaining the reference guide training document.
  14. Other related duties as required.


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 1year experience in apparel is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of apparel development or production process.
  • Strong project & calendar management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work with diverse teams.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, goals-oriented, and time-sensitive environment.
  • Strong Computer skills including Microsoft Office (WORD, EXCEL, POWER POINT, etc.)
  • Ability to work within multiple systems with ease.
