As a Store Manager, you will manage the daily operations of the retail store. You will be responsible for achieving profitable sales results and promoting superior customer service. You will supervise staff and make decisions and recommendations on hiring, training, salary administration, performance management, development, and employee relations. In this role, you will work on the selling floor and ensure the security of associates, merchandise, and store assets. You will analyze sales and gross profit and set goals for Assistants and Department Leads accordingly. As a Store Manager, you will review monthly departmental expense reports and approved budgets. You will work with central management to develop seasonal action plans and you will discuss merchandise mix, average inventory levels, and model stocks to improve sales performance.
